Thank you for your interest in working with Emmaus Norfolk & Waveney.

We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser to join our awesome team. This role will focus on raising funds through a variety of channels, including grants, events, individual giving, and a major donor programme. You will also help embed strong fundraising practices across the charity, working with companions (our residents), volunteers, staff, and trustees. While you may not have experience in every area, we’re looking for someone proactive, hands-on, and ready to maximise opportunities.

We are currently two-thirds of the way through a £2.7m capital appeal to refurbish the first floor of our main building, alongside several smaller projects. You will lead delivery of the existing strategy for this appeal and work closely with the CEO to secure funding
for additional initiatives.

You’ll be supported by our Regional Communications Officer, the wider team, and our fundraising consultants. Additional support is available from Emmaus UK, including their new Fundraising and Influence Director and team. This is our first dedicated fundraising role, offering exciting untapped potential within a small, independent charity with a powerful story and mission.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working closely with beneficiaries while collaborating across projects spanning therapeutic support, social enterprise, heritage, and garden development. Emmaus is a unique organisation and you would join us at a time of exciting evolution for the federation. Emmaus Norfolk and Waveney are notorious for thinking outside the box and taking on ground-breaking projects.

If you have a track record of growing income in the charity sector, strong creativity, excellent communication skills, and a positive “can do” attitude, we would love to hear from you. You’ll be joining a friendly, passionate team at a pivotal time. As this is a truly unique environment, we encourage you to research us and visit our Ditchingham site if possible.

To apply please download the attached job pack and send your CV and cover letter to cecileroberts@emmausnw.org. For more information about the job role please call Cecile on 01986899011.

Our Ditchingham site including our shop and café will be closed over the Easter weekend. We will shut at 4.30pm on Thursday 2nd April and reopen at 10am on Tuesday 7th April. Thank you for your understanding!
