About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and organised Fundraising Officer to support the development and delivery of Brandon Trust’s fundraising activity during an exciting period of growth.
This role will assist in generating income growth through prospect research, community engagement, donor management, marketing support, and administration, helping to build a strong culture of fundraising across the organisation.
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, the Head of Communications and External Affairs, and colleagues across Brandon Trust, the Fundraising Officert will provide essential operational support to ensure fundraising activity is aligned with Brandon’s long-term income development ambitions.
This is a part-time role, working 15 hours across 2 days per week, with flexibility on the chosen working days. The role is hybrid, with one day working from home and one day based in the office.
Key Responsibilities

Support prospect research to identify new individual, corporate, and foundation funding opportunities.

Assist with the delivery of community fundraising initiatives and support the development of donor and community relationships.

Help plan, coordinate, and deliver fundraising campaigns and events, including digital and in-person activity.

Support the creation of fundraising materials across multiple channels in collaboration with Marketing colleagues.

Maintain accurate donor records and support donation processing using CRM systems.

Assist with the preparation of grant applications, reports, and related documentation.

Provide administrative and reporting support, including monitoring fundraising activity, donor trends, and campaign outcomes.

Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to support aligned fundraising activity and promote a strong fundraising culture.
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for someone with either fundraising experience or transferable skills gained through roles involving engagement, marketing, administration, or relationship management. You will also bring:

A basic understanding of marketing principles and how they support fundraising campaigns.

Awareness of the UK charity sector and fundraising regulations.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to work with CRM systems.

Experience in a customer-facing role or volunteering within the charity or community sector.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

A proactive, supportive, and collaborative approach to work.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with willingness to travel for Brandon Trust business.
