Location: Hybrid (includes 2 days per week from London Head office, N1) or Remote
We typically work 2 days a week in the office but offer the flexibility to work fully remotely. Our office space is wheelchair accessible.

The External Engagement Team is responsible for developing our programme of Individual Giving; the ideal post holder will enjoy using their strengths in attention to detail and creativity in support of the growth of Individual Giving as a vital source of income for Family Action. You will also be involved in our work with major donors, legacies and in memoriam giving (if working 29.6 hours or more). There is a real opportunity to help shape Individual Giving for the organisation, and develop strong multimedia fundraising skills.
The role will be closely supported by the Individual Giving Manager, and training and coaching can be provided to enable you to take on the responsibilities of the role. Therefore, while fundraising and/or marketing experience is advantageous, for the right candidate we would consider someone with less experience.
Main Responsibilities:
• Supporting Individual Giving Manager in the development of all engagement with individual supporters including individual giving (acquisition and engagement), digital fundraising, in memoriam, legacy and major donors.
• Maintaining accurate records on the CRM database and finance reconciliation work
• Supporting in the writing and dissemination of donor communications, including contributing to appeals content, e-newsletters, and relevant website content..
• Help co-ordinating email marketing, and actively participating in planning email campaigns. Help develop donor journeys.
• Supporting the development and implementation of digital campaigns to acquire new donors, including social media activity, email activity and website content.
Main Requirements (for details check the job description and person specification):
• Interest in fundraising and making a positive difference to the lives across the country.
• Experience or an interest in developing skills in fundraising, Individual Giving, direct marketing, digital marketing, retail requiring working with CRM, administration.
• Ability to learn and feel comfortable with new systems including digital marketing tools and social media management tools. The post holder will work across many systems including Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Meta Ad Manager, Microsoft Office and PowerBi.
• Administration skills with strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy when reviewing, amending and analysing data
• Ability to organise workload, meet competing priorities and flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules.
