We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the development/digital marketing team.
Reporting to the Front-end Development Manager, the Front-end Developer will help to make a mark on the transformation and future proofing of all Stroke Association websites and microsites whilst helping the development/digital marketing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Being able to work effectively in a remote only fashion.
- Working both independently and with other team members from tickets created by a range of internal clients across the charity
- Implementing web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2) and offering recommendations on the best tools and methods to use when accessibility testing
- Offering solutions to problems and improvements to the quality of the Wordpress and Drupal development environment
- Active contributions to all UI/UX decisions
- Creating and executing responsive web solutions while adhering to existing brand design requirements
- Ensuring that best practices are followed for front-end performance
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements
This role requires occasional travel required for Team meetings, external stakeholder meetings and conferences.
