A Co-Educational Independent Day School for Students aged 11-18 FRENCH LANGUAGE ASSISTANT Part-time, term-time An enthusiastic French speaker with a flair for teaching is required to join our Modern Languages department as soon as possible. The primary role is to support Sixth Form and Years 10 and 11 with pronunciation, general conversation, aspects of the French language culture, reinforcement of topics seen in class and preparation for oral exams. This is a part-time, term time only position. Candidates should be available to work three days a week. About You Candidates should be a French speaker (native speaker level) with a good command of the English language as well. Previous experience of teaching or tutoring in the French language and a thorough understanding of the curriculum are advantageous but not essential. Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to establish rapport with students, parents and colleagues. A commitment to the ethos of the School and its pastoral approach is essential.
