Freelance Digital Inclusion Drop-in group Facilitator – Leeds Skyline

Salary: £20 per hour Hours: 2 hours per week for 24 weeks

Based: Leeds Skyline, Leeds BHA for Equality is a leading health and social care charity that works to challenge health inequalities and delivers a range of services to support individuals, families & communities to improve their health & well-being. We have an exciting opportunity available for Freelance Digital Inclusion Drop-in Group Facilitator for our HIV support service in Leeds. We are looking for dynamic and experienced group facilitator with digital inclusion knowledge, who can deliver digital inclusion support in a way that promotes health access and safety online. Our services in Leeds provide:

• Support for people living with HIV

• Community engagement initiatives and sexual health promotion interventions including outreach, 1:1 and group interventions

• Challenge stigma, discrimination and health inequalities

• Promote equality and diversity

The post holder will deliver weekly digital drop in inclusions for 24 weeks (12 weeks in the summer and 12 weeks in the autumn) , in addition to supporting the Leeds Skyline team to understand the digital inclusion needs or our service users. The role will involve:

• Provide accurate tech and digital guidance to people living with HIV in an accessible manner

• Promote the use of tech and digital equipment for improving health care access, independent travel, confidence and financial literacy.

• Promote safety online in the delivery of the drop in workshops

• Work in partnership with the Leeds Skyline team and volunteers to identify and report on the success of the drop in, in addition to opportunities for improvement

• Support the Leeds Skyline team to identify and support service users who have expressed an interest in developing their tech and digital skills

• Support the Leeds Skyline team in to better understand and improve their digital support for people living with HIV
