In 2018, Bloomsbury Football Foundation started with four kids and a bag of footballs on a housing estate in Camden. Today, we reach over 6,500 young people every week across nine London boroughs and we're just getting started.
We exist because many young people cannot access safe spaces, consistent support, or the opportunities to help them move forward. We're changing that. And every week, our Girls Super League gives hundreds of girls from some of the city's most underserved communities a place to play, belong, and progress. We're looking for someone to help run it.
The role
As our Super Leagues Coordinator, you'll be the engine behind the Girls Super League, managing fixtures, venues, and matchday operations, building strong relationships with coaches, referees, parents and partners, and making sure every girl who turns up on match day has an experience worth coming back for.
This isn't just a logistics role. It's a chance to help shape one of London's most exciting girls' football programmes, use data and insight to continuously improve what we do, and play a hands-on part in a charity that's growing fast and thinking big.
You'll report to our Senior Super Leagues Lead, work closely with teams across the organisation, and be part of a mission that's heading toward 20,000 young people a week by 2028.
You'll be responsible for
- Overseeing the weekly delivery of the Girls Super League — fixtures, venues, and matchday logistics
- Managing all communications with participating teams, coaches, referees, and venues
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with every stakeholder the league touches
- Using data and feedback to continuously improve the player and partner experience
- Supporting the strategic growth of the league alongside senior leadership
- Attending league at weekends periodically (with time off in lieu) to connect with players and coaches
- Representing Bloomsbury at events and forums, championing grassroots girls' football
Who you are
You're organised, people-centred, and genuinely energised by the idea of making grassroots girls' football better. You understand that great coordination isn't just about running things smoothly, it's about making every girl, coach, and parent feel like they're part of something that matters.
You bring strong planning and communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the kind of resilience that keeps things moving when priorities change. You're curious about what's possible, not just what's in front of you.
Essential:
- Exceptional planning and coordination skills across multiple locations and stakeholders
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities with diverse groups
- Creative problem-solver, you don't just flag issues, you find solutions
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Genuine passion for social impact and the magic of football to transform lives
Desirable:
- Experience in the not-for-profit or social impact sector
- Understanding of the grassroots football landscape
- Experience using data and insights to drive operational improvement
