Thank you so much for considering the post of Foodbank Centres Coordinator.
This is an opportunity for you to work for the Head of Community Action, coordinating the safe, efficient, and compassionate delivery of foodbank services across distribution centres. The role combines operational oversight, volunteer support, safeguarding, and partnership working to ensure a dignified, person-centred service for individuals and families experiencing poverty.
You will support the day-to-day running of foodbank distribution centres, working closely with volunteers, host churches, referral partners, and the warehouse team to ensure services operate smoothly and meet the required standards. You will also help strengthen relationships with partner organisations and contribute to the ongoing development of the foodbank service within the community.
As a representative of both KingsGate Foodbank and KingsGate Community Church, you will engage positively with clients, volunteers, donors, and members of the public, helping to create a safe, welcoming, and encouraging environment for all involved. All staff are friendly, enthusiastic people who love being part of the vision here at KingsGate Community Church.

Candidates will be invited to visit the Foodbank project following application, up to Thursday 2 April 2026.
1st Interviews (including a practical test) will take place on Wednesday 8 April 2026 (afternoon).
2nd Interviews will take place on Thursday 16 April 2026.
