About Us: Deafway is a charitable organisation which supports Deaf and Hard of Hearing
people both within the community and residential. We have a 34-bed care home providing
specialist support for Deaf residents, offering a supportive and inclusive environment. We
provide high-quality care, including nutritious and delicious meals tailored to our residents'
needs. Additionally, we plan and cater for external community events.

Purpose of the job:

Support the Catering Manager in delivering a high-quality catering service and maintaining
excellent hygiene standards.

Main key responsibilities are:

Assist with preparing and serving meals.
Set up dining areas and operate kitchen equipment.
Follow hygiene and safety procedures.
Accept deliveries and complete paperwork.
Support end-of-shift security.
Work effectively as part of the team.
