Food Grower

Wolves Lane Centre is recruiting a Food Grower to support day-to-day food production within a community-led growing site. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors as part of a team, contributing to a site that places people, culture and community alongside food production. You will work closely with the Lead Food Grower and wider growing team, supporting seasonal growing activity while helping maintain a welcoming, well-run environment for volunteers, trainees and visitors.

Food growing at Wolves Lane is rooted in agroecology, collaboration and care. The site works with a wide range of partners and communities, with a strong focus on creating access to land and skills for people who are often excluded from horticulture and environmental work. The Food Grower role supports this work by contributing practically to the growing operation while being part of the wider life of the site.​​

Contract: Fixed term, 2 years
Hours: 3 days per week
Pay: £17 per hour, paid monthly
