FOOD & BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER (KING'S BUILDINGS)
Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking to recruit Food & Beverage Team Members to join our Trading Operations team at King’s Buildings.
Edinburgh University Students’ Association is an award-winning organisation, which exists to provide diverse services, representation, and welfare support to the community of over 49,500 students at the University of Edinburgh. As a Food and Beverage Team Member at Kings Buildings you will be working between our various outlets; Magnet Café in James Clerk Maxwell Buildings and in Kings Buildings House Tempo Café and The Mayfield. We are Monday - Friday day time operation with the cafés open 8.30am - 4pm, Mayfield Hot Food lunch times 11.30am - 2.30pm. Shift times vary between 8am - 6pm (eg. 8am - 1pm, 1pm - 6pm, 10am - 3pm). Lunch times are our busiest time of the day, requiring the most staffing.
Salary: £13.45 per hour, plus a generous benefits package:

Hours: Up to 15 hours per week (no guaranteed hours)
Pattern: Various (Most shift patterns will be scheduled between Monday – Friday, 8am - 6pm)

The Role:
To assist the F&B team, ensuring the smooth front of house operation of all F&B services on our premises and maintain the highest standard of guest experience and food and beverage quality at all times.
The post holder will be based at King’s Buildings House but may be required to work in any of the Students’ Association’s outlets and will have an operational understanding of food service in all areas.
This position requires flexibility in terms of hours worked/shift patterns with occasional evening and weekend working required. Most shift patterns will be scheduled between Monday – Friday, 8am - 6pm.
