    In 2003 Amgueddfa Cymru – National Museum Wales established a trading arm called National Museum and Galleries of Wales Enterprises Limited. The Board of this company comprises of members of Amgueddfa Cymru’s Board of Trustees, members of Amgueddfa Cymru Directorate and non-executive Directors with particular commercial experience. The current Scope of the trading activity includes the management of:

    • The Museum Retail Shops and Catering at:
      • National Museum Cardiff
      • St Fagans National Museum of History
      • The National Roman Legion Museum
      • The National Slate Museum
      • Big Pit National Coal Museum
      • The National Wool Museum
      • The National Waterfront Museum

    This role is responsible for the operational management and departmental planning of the Food & Beverage businesses operating for Enterprises.

    This role is an operational management role within Enterprises that oversees Food & Beverage outlets in the income strand of Food & Beverage across all premises upon which Enterprises operates. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the operations support the delivery of the objectives of the Commercial Strategy through the pillars of People Excellence, Product Development, and Process Optimization. This is to be achieved in tandem with ensuring the highest standards of guest excellence is delivered across all operations along with the successful achievement of all financial targets. This role is part of the Operations Management team structure.
