Food and Beverage assistant - casual hours (1734)

We are looking for Food and Beverage Assistants to join our team to deliver exceptional food and beverage services across our outlets, including the Rooftop Restaurant, Café, Terrace and theatre bars. This role requires people that can provide a warm, professional and smooth experience for all visitors, whether they are attending a show, event, or dining with us, we want to ensure their visit is special and memorable.
These roles are offered as casual agreements which requires availability at short notice to cover a variety of hours, including evenings and weekends. We are looking for people with a flexible approach to working, with availability to support the department.
Reporting to the F&B Management team, key areas of responsibility include:
- Greeting and welcoming customers and taking responsibility for a section of the restaurant, café or bar
- Serving food and drinks across all outlets
- Ensuring areas are presented to a high standard for each service
- Receiving and checking deliveries, ensuring safe handling and storage.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment – following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and other teams to ensure smooth service
- Supporting with the delivery of functions and events
We are looking for people who:
- Deliver friendly, welcoming and efficient service to guests
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across front of chouse, kitchen and events teams
- Understand basic food hygiene and safety regulations (training provided)
- Are reliable and take responsibility for assigned areas and tasks
- Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Are adaptable and respond positively to changing menus, service styles and event requirements.
