The Vacancy

Are you a great Coordinator? Do you enjoy building great working relationships? If this sounds like you why not consider becoming a Fleet Coordinator for Aster Group.

We are currently growing the team and are looking to find two highly motivated Coordinators. With over 37,000 homes to look after you would imagine we have quite a large vehicle fleet and you would be right, we look after around 500 vehicles.

The purpose of the team is to ensure that all fleet related activities are carried out within the regulatory framework. Your responsibilities within the role will include –

  • Ensuring all vehicle accidents are accurately recorded and investigated by the relevant supervisor so that higher risk activities or drivers can be identified, and appropriate action taken to reduce the risk
  • Maintaining a report of the teams via the Ctrack system to assist in identifying any high-risk driver behaviours.
  • Preparing compliance incident records and motor claims accident reporting along with subject presentations for inclusion within Toolbox Talks
  • Monitoring the delivery of fleet management contracts and specific projects (Ctrack), taking prompt and timely action to ensure that targets are met, and high-level customer satisfaction is sustained.
  • Ensuring that all fleet vehicles are properly maintained, serviced, and records kept including keeping the vehicle register up to date.

As one of two Coordinators you will support each other in busier times and will cover during holiday periods.

About you

You will join the team with strong administration skills and previous experience in a coordination role.

You’ll be confident using of Microsoft Office and will have experience in using multiple systems.

You will be organised, have great attention to detail and will understand the importance of maintaining compliance in a role of this type.

You’ll strive to build great working relationships and will use your strong communication skills to address matter confidently, building rapport with your colleagues enabling you to be seen as a ‘go to’ person.
 

You will have experience in creating reporting information, picking up trends and highlighting where efficiencies could be made.

You will be confident in your ability to manage your own time and prioritise your workload. 
 

You’ll be able to base yourself from home as this is considered a hybrid role.  Occasional travel will be required for the role to meet with colleagues and attend working together days, so you must be happy to travel with our region. 
 

Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
