Corpus Christi College proposes to appoint a fixed-term part-time Lecturer in History for the period 1 September 2026 – 30 September 2027. The Lecturer will be required to teach for the undergraduate degree of History for up to 7 hours weekly and should be able to cover teaching across Prelims and FHS with flexibility as to the exact periods offered, but an interest and capacity in teaching historiography and methodology papers is required. The Lecturer will be expected to share responsibility for the administration of History (including organising and participating in undergraduate admissions) and provide pastoral care to students.

The Lecturer will receive a pensionable salary in the range £19,723 and £21,781, full High Table rights for the period of the appointment, teaching allowable expenses and a student entertainment allowance. They will be entitled to the use of a shared room in College but not to accommodation.
