ABOUT THE ROLE
Kick-start or further develop your career in finance with Trinity House, where you’ll become part of a supportive and professional Finance Department. This role is ideal for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of financial activities. You’ll be given the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow within a team that values development and collaboration.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
In this role, you’ll play an active part in the day-to-day running of finance operations, gaining exposure to key areas such as purchase ledger, banking, credit control, and reconciliations. You’ll assist with preparing journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation, you’ll contribute to the overall effectiveness of the Finance team while building valuable practical experience.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy. You should be confident using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, and able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing. A minimum of Level 2 qualifications, including English and Maths, or an AAT Level 2 or Business Administration qualification is required. Most importantly, you should have a genuine interest in finance and a strong willingness to learn and develop your skills.
