Do you enjoy problem-solving, improving processes, and using finance systems to help people work smarter? Are you looking for a role where you can develop technical skills, work with modern financial systems, and make a meaningful contribution to an organisation with purpose?

As a Finance Systems Development Analyst, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and enhancing The Salvation Army’s finance systems-supporting over 6,000 users across the UK and Ireland. These systems include Unit4 ERP, the AP Invoice Processing System, the Residents Billing System (RBS), and several key integrations such as payroll and fundraising systems.

Working as part of the Finance Systems team within the Finance Department, you will assist the Senior Development Analyst in configuring system modules, developing and improving reports, supporting testing cycles, maintaining interfaces, and helping ensure users across the organisation can make full and effective use of our finance systems.

This is a specialist technical role that requires a blend of strong accounting knowledge, data analysis skills, and a strategic mindset. You should have hands-on experience configuring and developing within Unit4 ERP or similar finance systems, excellent reporting skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI), and a track record of delivering system enhancements that add real value.

In return, you will be part of a supportive team where your expertise will directly contribute to strengthening financial stewardship, enabling evidence-based decision making, and freeing frontline teams to focus on their mission.

This is more than a systems role; it’s a chance to use your skills to help transform lives through The Salvation Army’s work.
