For over 50 years, SIA has supported people affected by spinal cord injury to live full and independent lives. We are looking for a Finance Officer to play a key role in keeping our finance function running accurately, efficiently and smoothly, helping us make every pound count for the people we support.

About the role

What you will be doing

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices, expenses, company credit cards, and income transactions.
  • Supporting supplier payments, journals, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting with financial reporting, year-end accounts preparation, and audit requirements.
  • Supporting credit control activities and helping to manage overdue accounts.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic records and ensuring compliance with finance policies and procedures.
  • Using Dynamics 365 Business Central and working with colleagues to resolve financial queries and improve processes

What we are looking for

  • Experienced in a finance or bookkeeping role.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Comfortable managing a varied workload and meeting deadlines.
  • A strong communicator who can build positive working relationships across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and the highest ethical standards
