Who will you be supporting?

A 65‑year‑old woman with dysphagia and Turner syndrome enjoys a vibrant and fulfilling weekly routine. Although she follows a SALT plan, she still loves her regular visits to a local bakery for a mince pie and a coffee. Her schedule is full, including exercise classes, cookery sessions, and a volunteer role at a well‑known charity shop. She is also proudly involved in rugby activities, once leading the Scottish team onto the field while carrying their flag. Always eager to help, she supports staff by completing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) counts and returning files to their proper place. She is a lively conversationalist, especially when the topic is Elvis or cats.

A 52‑year‑old woman with epilepsy, experiencing Clonic‑Tonic seizures, enjoys music, wordsearches, and days out. Her favourite weekly treat is a Friday kebab with triple garlic sauce. She is currently learning life skills with the goal of living independently in the future. She attends cookery sessions and is preparing to join a singing group.  She prefers to go at her own pace and can become overwhelmed if given too much information at once or told plans too far in advance. Each evening, she enjoys a warm drink while watching her favourite soaps.

A 64‑year‑old woman who is at risk of falls, lives with epilepsy, osteopenia, and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Despite these challenges, she leads an active and engaging social life. Her weekly activities include cookery sessions, visits with her three sisters, and assisting staff with the shopping. With a playful streak, she sometimes attempts to sneak crab sticks from the fridge. She benefits from regular reminders to take her time and slow down.

Other important information?

Each day we have 3 staff on shift,  2x 8-8 and 1 x 9-6.

Ideally, we would love drivers but that is not a must. All training will be provided on Dare to Learn, our training platform as well as inhouse training. If you’re ready to help us live our best lives possible, you could be part of our team
