ACS International School Cobham is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Female Football Coach to join our growing Girls’ Football Programme from 17th August 2026.

The successful candidate will work with students across our Middle and High School programmes, supporting the development of players in a positive, inclusive, and high-performing environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate coach who is committed to developing young athletes, promoting teamwork and wellbeing, and inspiring a lifelong love of football.

Given the nature of the role, which includes responsibility for the pastoral care and safeguarding of female students, including travel, and residential activities, ACS International School Cobham is seeking to appoint a female coach for this position. This requirement is considered to be a proportionate means of achieving a legitimate aim in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and support girls’ football teams within the Middle and High School programme.
  • Deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate training sessions.
  • Support fixtures, tournaments, and football-related school events.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and student-centred team culture.
  • Promote high standards of sportsmanship, wellbeing, and participation.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider PE and Athletics departments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience coaching football at school or club level.
  • UEFA C coaching qualification or above, or experience of playing at a high level.
  • Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes from diverse backgrounds.
  • A positive, energetic, and professional approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Applicants must be local and able to commute easily to ACS Cobham, KT11 1BL.
