Female Enhanced Sanctuary Support Worker
Hours 24 or 27 hours per week
Salary £26,513 per annum pro rata for part time (pay review pending)
Purpose of post
Providing a high quality support service to women experiencing domestic abuse with a focus on them staying in their own home away from perpetrator.
Working with district councils and contractors to ensure detailed safety assessments of their homes are undertaken.
Completing home visits alongside the contractors for assessment of the property to offer the survivor, emotional support and insight into what the scheme can offer and to manage expectations.
Offer survivors ongoing emotional support around safety.
Liaison with district councils and contractors to ensure the work is carried out in a timely manner.
Advocating for the survivor around her home safety needs.

This post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.
