Female Domestic Abuse Crisis and Intervention Worker

Hours 28 hours per week

Location based Based in Farr Centre Worksop

Salary £26,513 per annum, pro rata for part time

Purpose of post

To provide specialist domestic abuse support primarily to women who live within the Bassetlaw district and where requested NWAL geographical boundaries. Support will be survivor led and will involve emotional and practical support in regards to the impact created by the abuse. This could include housing, financial, risk and safeguarding needs etc.

The post holder will provide short term support to women survivors of domestic abuse, through drop in and appointment based support in addition to holding a small case load. This support will include responding to women in crisis. The post holder must work closely with the service user, colleagues and partner agencies to ensure a co-ordinated response to women’s support needs.
