Family Action delivers high quality, inclusive services that strengthen families and communities across the UK. Our Children & Family Centres in Gloucestershire provide welcoming, supportive spaces offering whole family, universal and targeted activities for families with children of all ages.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Family Hub Practitioner to develop and deliver a range of universal and targeted sessions across our centres and community venues. You will create and deliver engaging stay & play groups, early communication activities, baby sessions and evidence based parenting programmes. You will ensure families feel welcome, included and supported, promoting child development, early attachment and parental confidence. The role involves close partnership working with health, early years and other key agencies to deliver a broad, integrated offer across the Family Hub network.
What We’re Looking For
You will have experience working with early years children and families, strong knowledge of child development and safeguarding, and confidence facilitating group sessions. You’ll be values driven, organised, reflective and able to build positive relationships with families and partner agencies. A Level 3+ early years/health/social care/community qualification and a full driving licence are essential.
