Location: Cardiff – 3 days per week

Salary & Benefits: £38,300 + 10% pension, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, 35 hour working week, up to 13 flexi-days, private medical insurance, life assurance, and much more!

The role
As our Facilities Manager, you will ensure that WRAP provides safe, compliant and well-managed workplaces and working practices, including for staff undertaking international business travel. You will manage the delivery of all organisational facilities services; buildings, office services and infrastructure across WRAP’s UK offices (Banbury, Cardiff, Belfast and London) and those globally (USA and Europe). You will also act as WRAP’s internal lead for global Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) matters, coordinating and managing external Health & Safety specialist advice and support to ensure legal compliance and best practice.
Please note that you will be based in the Cardiff office for a minimum of three days per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure WRAP complies with all SHE legal obligations and recognised best practice in accordance with WRAP’s Health and Safety policy
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; record findings and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented
- Lead on International Travel Risk Management, including Developing and maintaining travel safety policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are in place for international travel; coordinating advice, briefings and support for staff travelling overseas; liaising with external travel risk and security providers as required
- Promote a positive SHE culture across WRAP, supporting managers and staff to understand and fulfil their responsibilities
What are we looking for?
- Broad knowledge of Safety, Health and Environment gained through professional qualification and/or relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience of office and facilities management across multiple sites, and hybrid working requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver against deadlines
- Ability to influence and engage stakeholders to secure commitment and action
