Facilities Assistant
Premier League Studios' Office Services team is seeking a Facilities Assistant to support the operations of a new, purpose-built facility at Olympia London.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to join the Premier League Studios as we open our new facility and become an integral part of the day-to-day facilities operations. Working closely with the Senior Office Manager and Workplace Manager, the Facilities Assistant will assist with the delivery of facilities services throughout the workspaces and production spaces, ensuring the site runs smoothly and professionally and support a high-performing, welcoming and safe environment for colleagues and visitors alike.
This role would suit a proactive, hands-on individual with an interest in scheduling and logistics, a commitment to high standards, and a desire to develop their operations and management skills.
Please note, this role will include weekend work once a month and will be part of a Monday – Sunday rotation shift pattern from 6am-9pm on non-match days and until 1am on match days.

The Role
- Ensure the FM office is always staffed, monitoring building systems, CCTV and Access control systems
- Assist staff with the set-up of meeting rooms, tea points, workstations and backstage rooms
- Assist the IT team by reporting and supporting the resolution of technical issues in the workspaces
- Greet and supervise all external contractors, monitoring their service levels
- Ensure all meeting rooms, tea points, client spaces and On-Screen team rooms are presentable, clean and requests are fulfilled.
- Complete site inspections and maintain accurate H&S logs
- Complete effective handover between Facilities Assistant shifts
- Assist with updating the office services pages on the staff intranet
Health and Safety:
- Assist the Senior Office Manager and Lead Facilities Assistant in the maintenance of Health and Safety standards in the facility, ensuring spaces and equipment remain compliant
- Support fire safety processes, evacuations and staff training
Studios Culture:
- Champion a positive and inclusive work culture where all staff feel valued and comfortable, responding to staff needs, feedback and driving improvements
- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the facility under the Senior Office Manager, ensuring it runs efficiently, safely and to the highest standard of service and presentation
Supplies and Logistics
- Complete workplace stock audits of consumables and office supplies
- Assist with placing restock orders with various suppliers
- Assist with placing catering orders for the team and set-up
Team Player
- Be proactive
- Communicate effectively with the Facilities team
- Support all meeting rooms, contractor and guest bookings throughout the facility, regularly checking the shared calendar.
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements to operational workflows and the workplace environment
Role Requirement
- Previous experience working on reception desks in corporate environments, hospitality or customer service roles
- Interest in Facilities Management
- A logical person and eager to learn with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Good communication skills – both verbal and written
- Good administrative skills
- Good organisation and time management skills
- Hardworking, proactive and professional
- Able to multi-task and prioritise
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Takes pride in attention to detail and building relationships with colleagues and suppliers
