Driving the land train carries great responsibility but with that comes pride and achievement, delivering a memorable experience to hundreds of Kew’s visitors each day. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills, able to confidently drive the land train safely, whilst delivering insightful tour commentary along the route. You will be our friendly face and an ambassador for Kew. You must be an organised individual with an eye for detail - able to multi-task when necessary but also able to focus on more routine tasks when required.

Successful candidates will have experience working with the public in a fast paced, busy environment. Experience of taking payments or working with ticketed operations, are vital to the role, along with a flexible approach to rosters and working hours when the Gardens open from 8am to 8pm in summer months.
Any offer of employment is subject to passing a driving medical assessment on appointment, and a practical driving assessment (following training).

The salary for this position is £26,817 per annum (pro rata) [Grade 2]
