Working at our venue is no ordinary part-time job—it’s a chance to be an ambassador for the Students’ Union. Our goal is to enhance student life at Bucks, and you’ll be at the heart of it.
Within a small team, you will play your part in the delivery of production for all live nights including club, comedy and acoustic sets. You will be operating lighting as well as the various analogue and digital sound decks, gaining essential knowledge and experience to use as a stepping stone to a career in the music/performance industry.
Key areas of focus:
- FOH and Monitor Engineer – Managing front-of-house and on-stage sound.
- Lighting Engineer – Setting up and operating event lighting.
- Technical Setup – Handling general technical requirements for club and live nights.
- Décor & Branding – Assisting with venue setup to enhance the student experience.
- Equipment Maintenance – Ensuring all production equipment is properly maintained.
- External Projects & Hires – Supporting outside events and equipment rentals.
- End-of-Night Support – Assisting bar staff with closing duties.
There is an expectation that you will be available to work Freshers’ Ball, Halloween, Ramblin’ Roots and Weekender.
