QUALIFICATION, RANK AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA

There are no essential qualifications, rank or experience required for this post. However, applicants who have a good understanding of rugby and have experience in a CQMS/RQMS role would be highly advantageous. In addition, the successful applicant must be able to comfortably operate with players, support staff and senior officers. In addition, the individual must be serving within the British Army and have at least 2 years service remaining from 01 Sept 26.

COMMITMENT

This is a prestigious, voluntary post working with a very enthusiastic and dedicated elite sports team. The time commitment for this post can be demanding for both work and personal time throughout the entire year. In total there are around 11 matches a season with each match lasting around 4 days.

The role involves:

  • Maintaining accountability of all team-issued kit and equipment.
  • Managing kit issue and recovery for players and staff.
  • Conducting seasonal stock checks and equipment audits.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Identifying equipment deficiencies and replacement requirements.
