Summary of the Role
We are looking for a temporary part time Equine Welfare Assistant to work weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 15 hours per week for up to 12 months.
Spread across five specialist yards, our Equine Welfare Assistants ensure that every equine in our care is handled with care and compassion, has access to clean water, feed and suitable shelter. The ideal candidate
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- a minimum of a level 2 qualification in equine studies
- at least 1 years previous experience of working with equines
- good communication skills and works well as part of a team
- sound knowledge of equine care and health needs
- demonstrable handling skills with a good health and safety awareness
- a good level of fitness due to the physically demanding nature of the role

Salary £12.21-£12.52 per hour.
If selected for interview you will need to arrive for 8.30am and may be required to stay for the full day.
