About the role

This is an opportunity to train as a specialist adviser tackling one of the most urgent issues facing our communities: fuel poverty. You’ll support people struggling with rising energy costs, help them navigate complex systems and build the confidence and skills they need to manage their finances and energy use long term. You don’t need to be an expert already, we’ll provide full training and support to help you develop into a skilled Energy Adviser. Due to the nature of the role, travel across North East Derbyshire and Bolsover will be required and you will be expected to attend events and make home visits. You will be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to small groups, are essential. While you will be part of a supportive team, you must also be comfortable working independently. Although listed as a trainee role we are open to receiving applications from experienced advisers.
