As Endoscopy Nurse within our Outpatient Department at The Manor Hospital, you’ll drive the standard in patient care. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC. You also have post-registration experience.

As a Endoscopy Nurse, you will:

  • Your main responsibilities will be to Pre-Assess Endoscopy patients

  • Provide assistance pre/during/post diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.

  • Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients to ensure delivery of a high standard of care.

  • Support the senior clinical team, demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff.

  • Taking part in clinical audits

  • Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Overtime

For clinical roles grade 9 and below, the overtime is at a standard rate of pay. For unsocial hours, you’ll be paid an additional enhancement to your salary at the following rates: Nights Hours worked between 7pm and 7am on any day of the week, 30% of basic hourly rate. Weekends Hours worked between 7am and 7pm on a Saturday or Sunday, 20% of basic hourly rate. Bank Holidays Hours worked between midnight and midnight of a bank holiday, 100% of basic hourly rate.
