Salary Details: £26,280.80 – £27,864.20 (per annum pro rata)
Hours Per Week: 35 hours per week (Term Time Only)

The Employment Advisor Role
As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals in finding and sustaining employment. Whilst working in partnership with employers, you will ensure that our learners receive the best opportunities to secure long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- To offer job coaching based in West Cumbria to support the DFN project search Supported Internship programme within Lakes college.
- Support with completion of tasks, observations, creating prompts, checklists, job analysis, setting achievable targets, supporting communication skills, supporting with interview skills and travel training where appropriate.
- Supporting learners to progress with their independence and look at paid role opportunities.
- Working with young adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism who have an EHCP- Educational Health and Care Plan, supporting to identify suitable work placements.
- Supporting people in paid work roles who require reasonable adjustments.
- Work including access to work support, which will include completing support timesheets and support with the claim process.
- Updating and maintaining accurate learner records/ support notes required by Lakes College.
- Contributing to Lakes college termly reviews, progression reports and assessments.
- Liaising with additional support networks such as, EHCP coordinators, careers advisors, adult social workers, parents/guardians and families where appropriate.
- Keeping up with ongoing mandatory DFN Project search training via face-to-face or online.
- Completing Inset days which fall in line with Lakes college.
About You

You must hold a Full Driving license and have the use of a vehicle for work.
