Scottish Refugee Council is Scotland’s national charity working to support refugees to build new lives in Scotland. We are looking for a passionate and innovative Employment Development Officer to lead the development and delivery of our employability work with refugees and people seeking asylum across Scotland.

Employment is a key part of successfully rebuilding a life in a new country. In this role, you will work directly with New Scots, employers, education providers, public bodies and third-sector partners to improve access to employment, education, training and career development opportunities.

You will develop and deliver employability projects, build strong partnerships with employers and stakeholders, influence inclusive recruitment practices, and create learning resources and training that help remove barriers for refugees entering the workforce.
