RISE Mental Health Support Team is recruiting one qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) to join our Gateshead MHST. This post will sit within our established team, working closely with schools, families and partners to deliver high‑quality early intervention for children and young people across Gateshead.

Key skills and experience:
The required skills and competencies for this role are:
- HEE PG Diploma in Education Mental Health Practice for children & young people or PG Diploma in Psychological Wellbeing Practice for children and young people.
- At least one years’ experience of delivery of low intensity evidenced based CBT interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues.
- Ability to deliver low intensity evidenced based interventions under supervision to children and young people.
- Ability to devise and deliver group-based interventions to children and young people.
- Ability to delver parent led interventions where children have a mental health need.
