This role leads the development and delivery of the Spinal Injuries Association’s (SIA) training, learning and professional development offer. The successful candidate will manage the delivery of high‑quality programmes that strengthen the knowledge, skills and confidence of professionals supporting people with spinal cord injury (SCI).
Key responsibilities include expanding SIA’s existing training offer, creating advanced and tailored learning packages for a range of audiences across health, social care, education, the voluntary sector and wider community partners. Programmes are delivered through flexible formats — online, in‑person and hybrid — and adaptable to different organisations’ CPD requirements.
A core part of the role will be to manage the ongoing development and improvement of SIA’s Knowledge Hub, ensuring it remains current, accessible and aligned with best practice. This includes enhancing content quality, identifying gaps, and ensuring the platform supports both SIA’s training programmes and the wider SCI community.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Spinal Cord Injury Centres, major trauma centres, district general hospitals and external providers to maintain strong sector relationships and uphold SIA’s reputation as a trusted source of expertise. Strong organisational, creative and project management skills are essential to coordinate complex schedules and drive forward SIA’s learning and knowledge offer.
