    Early Years Music Tutor for Guildhall Young Artists Norwich (GYA Norwich)

    Location: Wymondham High Academy, Folly Rd, Wymondham NR18 0QT

    Reporting to: Head of GYA Norwich

    Responsible for: Teaching, learning and reporting

    Salary & Contract: Variable hours on term-time Saturdays at an hourly rate of £40.50 per hour

    Guildhall Young Artists Norwich is looking to appoint an experienced early years music tutor to teach (during term time) weekly 'Music Starts Here' and 'Creativity Starts Here' group classes.

    Candidates should have considerable experience in early years music education and be able to lead structured, sequential classes for children aged 3–8 using singing, whole-body movement, and simple classroom instruments. Drawing from reputable frameworks such as Kodály, Dalcroze, or Suzuki, the ideal candidate will follow or design a high-quality curriculum that progresses naturally from ear-before-eye training into note reading, improvisation, basic composition and instrument skills as part of our wider centre.
