The E-commerce Content Assistant plays a key role in supporting the growth and success of Kew's online shop. Working closely with the buying team, and wider Retail & E-commerce team, the role is responsible for maintaining high-quality product content, supporting online merchandising activities, coordinating photography and creative assets, and contributing to the delivery of outstanding customer experience. The postholder will help ensure products are accurately presented, commercially optimized, and launched on time, while supporting initiatives to drive online sales contributing to the organization’s wider mission of plant and fungal science, conservation, and education.

Kew E-commerce is a fast-growing operation, the ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast-paced environment with a small team, able to work proactively and contribute to the success of the business.
Essential: Experience of supporting E-commerce or Digital function. Experience using content management systems (CMS) or e-commerce platforms. Experience of product set up and content enrichment. Strong and proven IT skills in Microsoft Office applications and digital media. Excellent service delivery approach. Strong written communication skills and the ability to produce SEO-focused content. Graphic design and image editing skills, including experience with Adobe Photoshop. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work on deadlines.
Desirable: Experience of working in an E-commerce heritage function. Experience with product photography or photoshoot coordination. Experience using Google Analytics or e-commerce reporting tools. Understanding retail stock management and inventory processes.

This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary for this position is £26,817 (pro rata) [Grade 2]
