To be accountable for own health and safety whilst at work, operating in line with company policies and procedures.
Undertake carriage and driver duties to various locations to meet the needs of the service delivery in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedure.
Complete allocated workload to meet work schedules and deadlines.
Undertake loading and unloading duties related to goods being delivered and/or removed, ensure all material is packed and restrained consistent with business requirements and standards, local and national standards and legislation.
Carry out miscellaneous duties associated with courier activities including handling confidential waste, general waste, supplier, collections and deliveries.
Carry out daily vehicle checks, fuelling and cleaning duties to specific standards, report immediately any vehicle defects or accidents to line manager.
Maintain driving records and any other relevant paperwork and remain current with regulations and practices relating to transport and movement of materials, company sites and location of key suppliers.
