Job Purpose To manage Oxfam’s programme in a specific area of South Sudan .

Key Areas of Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• To be responsible for the Oxfam vehicles/boat & quad bike driven and for the safety of passengers and to ensure that the vehicles/boat & quad bike are always kept secure.
• To drive Oxfam's vehicles/boat in accordance with government legislation and with organizational policy and security guidelines
• To record all journeys, service and maintenance information in the vehicle logbook
• To ensure that Oxfam's vehicles/boat & quad bike are clean and well maintained, to carry out basic daily checks, and to ensure that spares, tools, fuel, water and first aid kits are carried as required.
• To report any mechanical problems to the driver mech or Logistician
• To carry out basic repairs and servicing of the vehicles, boat and quad bike and to make recommendations to the Logistician for the servicing and repair.
• To ensure that all the vehicle documents are up-to-date, and to inform the Logistician when the vehicle documents need renewing.
• To make a written report to the Roving mechanic and Logistic of any accident or incident involving an Oxfam vehicle.
• To undertake errands on behalf of the office or any staff member
• To undertake any other duties as required, in accordance with the job purpose, to ensure the efficient operation of the programme.

Required Technical Skills, Experience & Knowledge
Essential
- Holder of driving license with no major infringements
- Road safety and Oxfam’s guidelines on use of vehicles
- Car and vehicle maintenance
- Several years’ experience as a professional driver/boat operator.
- Ability to drive range of vehicles/boat operator in exceptionally bad conditions and to pass the Oxfam driving test.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Flexible

Prior experience in community Base conflict management
