If you thrive in a busy, purposeful environment and love supporting others to do their best work, this is your chance to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our high‑value fundraising programme.
You’ll provide essential administrative, logistical and delivery support across the Donor Relations programme, working closely with colleagues across the Philanthropy Directorate. You’ll be joining a supportive, passionate team that champions creativity, excellence and meaningful supporter engagement.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing administrative and logistical support across the Donor Relations programme and wider Philanthropy Directorate.
- Coordinating aspects of donor journeys, working closely with internal partners and escalating issues or risks to senior colleagues when needed.
- Maintaining process documents, supporting consistent ways of working, improving team systems and contributing to discrete projects.
- Ensuring accurate CRM record‑keeping and capturing all relevant supporter interactions.
- Handling essential team admin—diary coordination, agendas, minutes, travel logistics, printing, posting and preparing stewardship gifts.
- Supporting core stewardship activity including thanking, receipting and impact reporting.
- Managing shared inboxes and administering senior leadership messaging programmes (Festive, Lunar New Year, Honours).
- Coordinating donor recognition across the Annual Report & Accounts and campaign materials.
- Contributing to directorate‑wide initiatives and championing equality, diversity and inclusion in all decisions.
What are we looking for?
- Excellent administration skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines and stay calm under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to build effective working relationships.
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication across a range of audiences.
- High IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office, CRM/database experience, and familiarity with design software such as Canva Pro.
- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and a systematic approach to your work.
- Ability to digest information quickly, research effectively and make sound recommendations when needed.
- Strong copywriting and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- This role would suit someone looking to build strong experience in supporter engagement, administration or stakeholder support.
