Domiciliary Care Team Leader
Domiciliary Care Team Leader
Closing date: 13th April 2026
Come and join us as our new Domiciliary Care Team Leader and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our outstanding Domiciliary Care.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea is home to around 300 British Army veterans. We are proud to deliver exceptional care built on nurturing belonging, respecting individuals, encouraging pride, and enjoying life. We are seeking a Team Leader who leads by example and helps foster a warm, inclusive environment for both Pensioners and Staff.
You will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the highest standards of care for all pensioners living independently whilst receiving Domiciliary Care. This includes ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being needs are met, while managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the service.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on inspiring others and driving a culture of continuous improvement. You will champion high quality, evidence-based practice and decision making that meet the CQC Fundamental Standards, while supporting our dedicated team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care to every Pensioner.
With responsibility for audits, assessments, safeguarding, and incident management, you will help maintain a culture where excellent care is the norm and continuous learning is encouraged.
Alongside your clinical duties, you will lead a motivated team of two Senior Care Assistants through supervision, appraisals and training, ensuring each member feels supported to grow and perform at their best. You will take ownership of staff rotas and service delivery, while working closely with the Deputy Matron to keep standards high and the service running smoothly.
We are looking for a confident communicator with strong organisational skills, proven experience in care leadership, and a genuine commitment to making a difference. With NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and a passion for developing your leadership skills further, you will be someone who brings integrity, compassion and energy to everything you do.
If you’re ready to inspire excellence and help shape a truly outstanding care service, we would love to hear from you
