About the Role
We are looking for Domestic Assistants to join the team of bank domestics in maintaining a safe, healthy and clean environment in the homely surroundings of Strathcarron Hospice.
Shifts will be offered on an ‘as and when required’ basis to cover various shift patterns between Monday to Sunday. We require applicants to be flexible in the days and hours they can work.
What We’re Looking For
You should have excellent team working skills, and a working knowledge of food hygiene, infection control and safe moving and handling.
Duties will include carrying out daily, weekly and periodic cleaning duties and will involve providing a meal and beverage service to patients.
Previous domestic experience is preferred. Training and supervision will be an integral part of the post holder’s development.
The post is subject to a check by the Protecting Vulnerable Group Scheme.
All new employees will be subject to a probationary period of 6 months, during which performance and suitability for the role will be assessed.
