Main purpose and scope of the job
This post will be co-located within Stop Domestic Abuse Hampshire Advice Line providing a single point of access for referrals and enquiries to safe accommodation services.
- Making contact with all clients within 24 hours of referral ensuring that client need is met urgently.
- Completing risk and needs assessment, provide immediate advice, support and safety planning ensuring the victim/survivors and their family’s safety. To contribute to promoting victim’s safety by identifying risk and need and facilitating engagement with the appropriate service.
- Ensuring that all safe accommodation referrals are managed in a timely and efficient manner meeting the requirements of commissioned contracts and funding specifications.
- Raising the profile and awareness of accommodation based services, support available and referral pathways with partner agencies.
- Working with those to ensure accurate vacancy information is available, coordinate the move in of victim/survivors and their children.
