About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead the discovery and definition phase of digital transformation at BUCS. You will work across the organisation and with member institutions, students, and national partners to capture requirements and shape the future of BUCS’ digital services and platforms.

Acting as the organisational product innovation lead, you will analyse current systems and user journeys, identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency, and translate stakeholder needs into clear product requirements and business cases. Your work will result in a strategic digital roadmap aligned to BUCS’ 2030 strategy, ensuring long-term sustainability and improved experiences for participants and members.

You will also support procurement and supplier evaluation, develop options appraisals for technology solutions, and establish governance and success measures to guide future implementation. This role plays a key part in supporting senior leadership decision-making and preparing the organisation for successful change and adoption
