Job Description and Person Requirements

Job Title: Digital Hub & Welcome & Information ManagerHours: Full-time 37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 09:00 – 17:00 and Friday 09:00-16:30Salary Range: FTE SALARY Range £30,965.00 - £32,990.00

Reporting Arrangements: Working as a part of the AUKS Welcome & Information Team and Reporting to the Community Operations Manager.Contract: Contract subject to 3 months probationary periodLocation: Digital Hub/ locations around Stockport and with some hybrid working where appropriate

The Role: The following details reflect the content of the post at the date prepared. The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude to the duties which may have to be varied, after discussion with the post holder, subject to the needs of the organisation and in keeping with the general profile of the post. Core Purpose: To lead and manage the Age UK Stockport Digital Hub and Welcome & Information Team, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, professional and welcoming frontline service to the community.
The postholder will oversee the daily operations and development of the Digital Hub, ensuring it remains an accessible and vibrant community resource whilst leading a team that provides information, signposting and first-point-of-contact support both in person and over the telephone.

The role will ensure excellent customer experience, efficient operational management and continuous improvement of hub-based services, facilities and digital opportunities.

Main Role: To provide effective leadership, management and development of the Welcome & Information Team and Digital Hub, ensuring services are responsive, welcoming, efficient and aligned with Age UK Stockport's strategic objectives and values.
