Digital & Communications Coordinator
The Brun Bear Foundation is a registered charity operating across community grants, medical innovation, animal welfare, and BAME maternity health. We punch above our weight for an organisation of our size, running an annual golf day, a programme of supper clubs and walks, two book publications in 2026, and a growing events calendar.
We are looking for a Digital & Communications Coordinator to take ownership of our online presence and ensure that everything the Foundation does is visible, consistent, and well presented to the world.
What you will be doing:
Owning and updating the Foundation's website — keeping events, news, impact stories, and programme information current
Managing and scheduling social media content across all Foundation platforms using automation tools, ensuring a consistent posting cadence without requiring daily manual intervention
Establishing and maintaining a consistent visual identity across the website, social media, the app (in development), and event materials
Producing digital assets — event tiles, promotional graphics, short-form video edits — for use across all channels
Supporting the launch and ongoing marketing of the Foundation's Golf Day (September 2026), including the dedicated Golf Day website on the Riviera platform
Writing and distributing the Foundation's newsletter
Monitoring engagement and providing simple monthly reporting on digital performance
Supporting the Chair with ad hoc communications tasks as required
What we are looking for:
Demonstrable experience managing websites and social media for an organisation, charity, or brand
Comfortable with social media scheduling and automation tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or similar)
A good eye for design — experience with Canva or Adobe suite desirable
Basic video editing skills desirable
Strong written English and an instinct for tone — you will be writing content that represents the Foundation publicly
Self-directed and reliable — this role requires someone who sets their own schedule and delivers without being chased
This role would suit a digital generalist who is comfortable across multiple channels and tools, and who wants to apply their skills to work that has genuine social impact.
