Help us shape a major new programme for communities across England and Wales’

Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales is seeking a Design Partner to work alongside us to create and help operationalise our new Community Belonging programme, ready for launch in early 2027.

Our new strategy, In a Good Place, is driven by a simple vision: everyone in England and Wales is in a good place personally, in a home that is a good place to live, and in a community that is a good place to belong.

We're looking for a partner who can help us turn a broad and complex area of work into a focused, practical and evidence-informed programme. You'll bring together evidence, insight and lived experience, engage stakeholders across England and Wales, and help us make clear choices about where we can have the greatest impact.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design of the Community Belonging programme.
  • Bring together evidence, insight and lived experience to inform decisions.
  • Facilitate engagement with community-led organisations, sector experts, Foundation colleagues and Lloyds Banking Group.
  • Help define outcomes, eligibility, delivery approaches and learning frameworks.
  • Develop a theory of change and impact framework.
  • Produce a final programme design proposal and roadmap for launch.

Who we're looking for

We're interested in hearing from individuals, partnerships or consortia with:

  • Experience designing programmes in the charity, social impact or philanthropic sector.
  • Knowledge of community belonging, social connection, community cohesion or bridging divides.
  • Experience working alongside community-led organisations.
  • Strong facilitation, engagement and project management skills.
  • The ability to turn evidence and insight into clear recommendations and practical solutions.

We're looking for a genuine partner, not simply an external consultant. We want someone who is collaborative, curious, comfortable with complexity, and able to work alongside us as the programme develops.
