Deputy Manager  

Greenland's Meadow, Taunton

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Manager to join Greenland's Meadow, our brand‑new care home in Taunton.

This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday.

You'll support and deputise for the Registered Home Manager, helping to deliver safe, person‑centred, high‑quality care while providing visible leadership across the home. This role is ideal for a confident care leader who values dignity, kindness and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities 

• Deputising for the Home Manager and supporting day‑to‑day operations

• Leading and supporting staff to deliver outstanding person‑centred care

• Overseeing assessments, care planning and quality assurance

• Supporting CQC compliance and inspections

• Assisting with recruitment, supervision, appraisals and staff development

• Supporting safe staffing levels, rotas and on‑call cover

About You 

• NMC registered

• Level 4/5 qualification or equivalent leadership experience

• Experience in residential or nursing care at senior level

• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and care planning

• Compassionate, organised and confident leader
