Deputy Head (Academic)

As RGS Prep prepares for transition to co-education, join us as Deputy Head (Academic) and you will have the chance to help shape this evolution academically, pastorally and culturally, ensuring that our provision is ambitious, inclusive and forward-looking.

As a member of Senior Leadership Team you will help shape the whole-school strategy while maintaining a culture of professional excellence. As well as leading on curriculum development, you will teach within your subject specialism and will play a full and visible role in the daily life of this vibrant, evolving school community.

Key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Strategic academic leadership

  • Curriculum, assessment and policy oversight

  • Quality assurance and standards

  • Safeguarding leadership

  • Line management and oversight

  • Senior Leadership Team responsibilities

We are looking for a highly organised, resilient and reflective individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead change effectively.
