John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited is the holding company of the publicly-listed conglomerate, Swire Pacific Ltd. Our Group Internal Audit Department is now inviting candidates to apply for the following position:
Deputy Group Head of Internal Audit
Responsibilities:
- Manage the annual audit plan by identifying key risk areas and formulating audit strategies, including data analytics and new technologies plans, through discussions with divisional management
- Ensure audit quality by maintaining up‑to‑date professional standards and regularly reviewing departmental guidelines and audit procedures
- Review audit team’s works to uphold high standards of accuracy and compliance
- Review and perform ad hoc and special projects including investigations
- Design, evaluate, and encourage the adoption of data analytics tools across audit works
- Review audit reports and prepare submissions for Audit Committee meetings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Group and divisional management to stay informed of business developments and audit needs
- Support the ongoing professional development of the audit team by pursuing training opportunities and sharing relevant industry knowledge
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Certification as a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Information Systems Auditor
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in auditing, accounting, or information technology
- Proven excellent skills in negotiation, presentation and problem-solving
- Flexibility to travel frequently
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
